KONE Philippines has appointed Bernard Salud, Managing Director of Philippines as of 30 May 2016.
Bernard Saud will succeed Gerard van Dijk, who will be taking on a new role in KONE Netherlands after 3 years with KONE Philippines. Gerard joined KONE in Netherlands since 1992 and has taken up various leaderships roles since his joining. Gerard will be the Director of New Equipment Business and Modernization of KONE Netherlands upon his return in July 2016.
Bernard Salud brings with him a wealth of experience in engineering, sales and management. He will join KONE from ABB Philippines, where he has held various senior management positions during his 5-year stint. Prior to ABB, Bernard Salud was with Siemens, Inc. for 15 years and held various management positions. Bernard Salud has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computing Engineering from De La Salle University, Manila.
